Barriers we've
helped turn around

Each project starts with a real stuck point — something that was making meaningful participation harder than it should be. Here's how we've approached them.

Voice-first strategy game for blind & visually impaired players

Players were excluded from a genre they loved

Strategy games rely heavily on visual maps, unit positions, and resource counters — making them inaccessible to blind or low-vision players. We rebuilt the interaction model from the ground up using spatial audio cues, a structured voice navigation system, and a screen-reader-first UI. The result is a game that's fully playable without vision — and better for sighted players too.

Physio as play — home therapy kids actually want to do

Kids weren't completing their exercises at home

Paediatric physiotherapy exercises are repetitive by design — which means kids stop doing them. We turned a prescribed home exercise programme into a movement-based game: the exercises became the controls, progress became a game mechanic, and parents could track completion without nagging. Compliance went up. Dread went down.

Gateway task sessions for stuck founders & professionals

Capable people blocked by admin they couldn't face

A talented founder had six months of unfiled paperwork, unanswered grant forms, and a backlog of follow-ups that had grown too heavy to start. We ran a focused gateway task session — part co-working, part AI-assisted processing, part system design — and cleared the backlog in two sessions. Then we built a lightweight workflow so it wouldn't pile up again.

Escape-room onboarding for a complex health programme

New staff weren't retaining onboarding material

A health organisation was losing staff knowledge within weeks of onboarding — traditional slide decks and manuals weren't sticking. We designed an escape-room-style interactive experience that taught protocols, values, and key workflows through doing rather than reading. Completion rate jumped and six-week knowledge retention improved significantly.
